Net-Zero and Affordable Multi Family Housing
The first phase in this development is 80 True North Crescent (nearing completion) and is the first of four multi-unit buildings designed for the Affordable Housing Association of Nova Scotia (AHANS). This development was funded by the second round of the Federal Rapid Housing Initiative and built on land received from the Halifax Regional Municipality.
The Affordable Housing Association of Nova Scotia (AHANS) hopes to offer a variety of affordable rental rates for townhouses on True North Crescent, and will include some three- and four-bedroom units, which are hard to find in the current rental market. Additional project phases include three subsequent buildings, for a total of 44 units.
